recognition for courage and bravery

Today we had two staff members from Manchester City Council attend the Police Station to receive recognition for the support and first aid they gave to a victim of a serious assault.

They showed courage and bravery when dealing with the victim who was heavily bleeding at the time. They contacted emergency services, obtained first aid and provided support to the victim. Chief Inspector Shilvock presented them with the award and thanked them for their efforts that day.

They should be proud of what they did, this is an example of someone going above and beyond what would be expected of a member of the public.
